Flaxseed oil VERSUS Salmon
oil:
- Flaxseed has Alfa Linolenic Acid that have
to be converted by your pet to EPA and DHA, in order to be used.
This conversion is very inefficient, less than 10%. That is
why it is better to give your pet fish oil directly, Omega 3 for
dogs or cats.

Salmon oil is a natural source for
Omega-3 essential fatty acids, which are
important nutrients for the skin and coat -
and for overall health. Many holistic
veterinarians feed salmon oil to his dogs
and cats every day, and recommends it to all
of his patients.
The important EPA and DHA Omega-3 essential
fatty acids are plentiful in salmon oil. And
unlike plant-based Omega-3 supplements (such
as flax seed), fish oil is readily processed
by the digestive system, resulting in more
available essential fatty acids per serving.
A daily supplement of salmon oil is a must
for any dog or cat with skin or coat issues,
including those caused by allergies - but it
will make a noticeable improvement in the
coat of any animal, young or old.

US Vets Recommendation:

under 1,000mg x day = 2 pump daily
Dogs greater than 50lb 2,000mg x day = 4 pumps daily
Dogs greater that 100l 3,000mg x day = 6 pumps daily
or as recommended by your Veterinarian. OK to refrigerate
1 pump = 1/2
teaspoon.
